Summary: Word Escapade stores game progress, scores, language and audio preferences, and Premium status on your device. The mobile implementation includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and connects to Apple App Store or Google Play for an optional non-consumable Premium purchase. The reviewed version does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or location access and does not require a Choral Software account.
Information stored on your device
Word Escapade may locally store your current level, score, completed activities, saved game state, selected language, sound-effects preference, background-music volume, and Premium-entitlement status. It uses Unity PlayerPrefs and locally serialized game data. Choral Software does not operate a Word Escapade account or cloud-sync server that receives this game progress during ordinary use.
Advertising
The project includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and is designed to show banner advertising to non-Premium players. The reviewed configuration currently uses Google’s test application and banner identifiers; a distributed release may use production advertising configuration. When the SDK is active, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions, product interactions, consent signals, fraud-prevention information, crash data, performance data, and diagnostics. Depending on region, settings, consent, and production configuration, that information may be used to deliver, secure, measure, or personalize advertising. Premium removes in-game banner ads.
Analytics and diagnostics
The Word Escapade project includes Unity Analytics components and is configured to permit analytics submission. When active in a distributed build, Unity may process device information, app interactions, session information, approximate location derived from network information, crash or performance information, and diagnostics. Choral Software does not intentionally attach locally stored scores, word-game progress, or language preferences to advertising or analytics requests.
Purchases
Word Escapade includes an optional, non-consumable Premium Edition purchase that unlocks Premium content and removes ads. Apple App Store or Google Play processes product information, billing, receipts, purchase restoration, and payment details. The app receives purchase status and order information needed to grant, confirm, or restore entitlement and stores the entitlement state locally. Choral Software does not receive your full payment-card information.
Permissions and device access
The reviewed implementation does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, photos, or health-data permission. Internet access is used by advertising, store-purchase, analytics, and related platform components.

Sharing, sale, and tracking
Choral Software does not sell locally stored Word Escapade progress or preferences. Advertising or analytics data processed by Google, Unity, or their partners may constitute “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or tracking under some laws depending on configuration and consent. Platform and advertising privacy controls may limit certain uses.
Retention, deletion, and choices
Local game data remains until you use the in-app reset feature where available, clear app storage, or uninstall, subject to operating-system backup behavior. Third parties retain advertising, purchase, analytics, and diagnostic information under their own policies. You may use applicable device and advertising privacy controls, purchase Premium to remove in-game banner ads, or contact info@choralsoft.com about information held directly by Choral Software.
Children
Word Escapade is a general-audience educational word game and is not directed to children under 13. Choral Software does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Word Escapade account because the app has no such account system. Advertising and platform providers apply their own age-related requirements and controls.
Security and international processing
Local information is protected by the safeguards of your device and operating system. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Third-party providers may process information in other countries under their own safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy as Word Escapade, applicable law, or third-party services change. We will revise the effective date and may provide an additional notice for material changes.
